Day 18 - Cold Caribbean

Due to poor reception, we couldn't upload anything yesterday.

Yesterday was a beautiful day, even though the night in this tourist camp was simply dreadful, as two people next to us took turns snoring and others had the brilliant idea to tear down their camp and leave the car engine running at 6 in the morning. So there was no chance of a restful and quiet night. At least there was a hot shower and electricity, so after a quick breakfast, we hit the road as fast as possible. The two people we met on Day 16 were also at the camping site, so we made plans to meet them in the evening at a beautiful beach called 'Haukland Beach'. But before that, we hiked to another beach called 'Kvalvika Beach'.

The sun was shining and it was simply fantastic. The hike was really challenging and more like climbing, as there are no paved paths there, but the beach and the view made up for everything. It was breathtaking.

After that, we drove to the beautiful 'Haukland Beach', the beach and the vastness there are just beautiful.

It looks like the Caribbean, just without palm trees. We met up with the two people and spent the evening cozying up by the fire. It was windy and cold, but with thick jackets and a hat, it was still really nice.
