Although it's technically Sunday, we had to get up early and get back to work fresh and happy. As we climbed up to the start of the team event, not everyone had a lot of happiness on their faces. We managed to overcome this and had at least some warmth. Today, we experienced one of the coldest days so far. The work went according to plan, except for a broken cable. By noon, we were able to pull almost all of them into the pipe, which Hans Pieren had pulled in for us the day before with his snow groomer drivers.
Lunch was fantastic again. Today, the dessert buffet was particularly noteworthy: apple strudel with vanilla sauce, tiramisu, chocolate cake, and a cheesecake in an oversized coup glass were on offer. For once, we indulged in the dessert buffet. However, this did not completely warm our cold bones, so Peter had to warm his socks in the SRF truck. We used the energy gained to run back to the team start. We pulled the last two cables through the pipe and then we could pull all 6 cables towards the target.
In the evening, we had the honor of going to a Korean barbecue with the entire installation team. The meat is "posted" at the counter, and then the glowing charcoal is brought to you at the grill. Once you have cut the meat, you can grill it yourself, then put it on a lettuce leaf, season it with salt, and enjoy. In addition to the meat, there are various vegetable side dishes and of course rice. To finish, we treated ourselves to a Korean schnapps. It didn't have a special flavor, but it was still pretty drinkable.
