Not just a weekend, but a few days, like raspberries with whipped cream! Our hotel in Hua Hin is a hit! Our balcony not only has a sea view, but also a plunge pool that bubbles when needed. Being on the top floor, we also enjoy absolute privacy.... The location is a bit of a challenge. There is no pub or massage nearby. However, the night market of Hua Hin is only 10 minutes by taxi, and there we find everything our heart desires.

The main pool of the resort is beautifully located and we enjoy spending time here. But the most fun is breakfast! A buffet that leaves nothing to be desired, everything is provided in small quantities, but constantly replenished. Service is highly valued at Rest Detail Hotel. Even the occasional language barrier cannot change that. For example, when all the tables are occupied at breakfast outside, they serve us a bowl of tea at a nearby seat, and then guide us to a free table. During a short rain shower, the waitress was genuinely concerned that it might have rained into the tea while bringing it to the table, and she thought it would be better to bring us fresh tea....but we drank the "rained" tea anyway. Our breakfast highlight every morning is the freshly squeezed carrot-starfruit juice, sometimes refined with a little watermelon or apple juice.

We already know the night market from last year. However, finding a suitable massage opportunity proves to be difficult. But after 2 failed attempts, we are also satisfied here! There is a wide selection of restaurants, but we have a lucky hand and find a delicious one right away. We indulge ourselves with spring rolls and shrimp and squid tempura before moving on to the tiger prawns. Very tasty....just the sauce has a strong aroma of wet dog, so we prefer to exchange it!

Unexpectedly, we also celebrate Puppe's Non-Birthday. Every hotel guest who has their birthday in February receives a dining voucher and a birthday cake. Very attentive. We celebrate, of course, in our refuge on the balcony. Happy Un-Birthday!

The days fly by, but we are also very busy! Swimming....both in the large pool and in the private pool...sometimes with, sometimes without panties, takes up a lot of time. It is paradise! We would love to stay longer. However, we will meet Matthias and Heike at our next stop, Bangkok, so we have to stick to the schedule.

It was wonderful and we will definitely come back!
