According to the weather forecast, it's supposed to be cold. Well, it's mid-late October. The wind is getting icier and it's better to sit comfortably inside. We're still on the way to Calgary and trying to find nice parking spaces in Saskatchewan. That's fine here difficult because many prohibition signs have been put up and campsites are closed. Nice police officers pointed out to us one morning that you are not allowed to stand in closed places. At Sommerberry we finally find a place without service, but with WiFi. In the morning The landscape is white and it has become really cold. The thermometer says minus 8 degrees icy. We decide not to drive to Medicine Hat, our planned destination, which is still 200 km away, but instead find a winter campsite at Elk Water. It gets even colder, -15*C at night and MANNI then reaches its limits. We've been standing here for a few days now, going hiking and somehow enjoying the beautiful winter landscape.
Freddy doesn't want to leave the car at the moment. Cold paws aren't that comfortable.
It's definitely getting warmer again. We're hoping for that.
Otherwise, we'll continue to wrap ourselves up warmly.
Have a nice Halloween weekend everyone
