Hello guys,
today we focused on the program list for visiting various cars!
After a very restless night, thanks to the Halloween party here at the hostel, we woke up very early this morning. Well, not a big deal, at least we were able to gather some information about potential cars and then get ready and have breakfast calmly. Compared to yesterday, our breakfast was really grand! Besides the provided toast, we had cheese, cold cuts, orange juice, and a little bit of fruit to strengthen us. Then we started the day slowly!
At 10 o'clock, we had our first car viewing, a dream car, fully equipped, super well-maintained, a very nice salesperson, and a good feeling that the car definitely lives up to what the salesman, named Chris, promised. The only catch is that the car is unfortunately slightly outside our budget. That means, we could afford it, but then we would have spent more money on a car than we actually planned.
We said goodbye nicely to Chris and soon made our way to the next car. But when we were halfway there, the seller of this car canceled on us at short notice, as he had found a buyer for his car for the time being. Actually, this car was our favorite, but that's the way it is: "First come, first served!"
There was a flea market in the city center. In glorious sunshine, we strolled leisurely through the various stands, it was really nice!
Next, we walked to our mobile phone provider to take care of Ann-Estelle's mobile phone contract, which, oddly enough, was not working. Fortunately, a very competent employee was able to help us quickly, and now Ann-Estelle can easily use her contract.
We strolled a bit more through the city center. But we both weren't feeling very well, so we decided to go back to the hostel. When we got back to the hostel and lay down in bed, Ann-Estelle lay down and before I knew it, she was already asleep. She was visibly exhausted, so I went shopping alone to give her some rest, as we still needed a few things, mainly tissues, because we have quite a consumption of them due to our cold.
I postponed the remaining viewings for today to tomorrow so that Ann-Estelle can sleep off her fatigue, and tomorrow we can look at cars diligently.
But now it's time to sleep, because for the first time in days, there is peace in this hostel and the jet lag is still giving me a hard time!
Greetings from Brisbane, Australia!🇦🇺
Your Tim!
