The rest of the day, after Franzi came home from work, we spent in the apartment with the joy of reunion and many shared experiences. Eating, drinking, and talking were not so easy anymore, because tiredness was great! Franzi's apartment, with the magnificent view from the 29th floor, with two bathrooms and the living and kitchen area and the balcony, is impressive. We are allowed to spread out in the bedroom and she has her base in the smaller study. Yes, when the parents come, that's how it is! We will also enjoy the other advantages of this residential tower with swimming pool, fitness room, concierges, and three elevators in the next few days. For us, the constant background noise from the ongoing car traffic is unusual! It is interrupted by the sirens of the police and ambulance transports. Especially since a clinic is located right nearby, right next to the Sheraton Hotel across the street. Larger celebrations seem to take place here, which sometimes also happen in the garden at our feet. Reality TV on the balcony, something new, but interesting!

The temperatures, around 30°C, are bearable, probably also with the awareness that it is 20°C cooler in Berlin. So sleep came over us quickly.
