The planning is in full swing, with thoughts not only focused on the planned trip. But at least the route for Australia is set, but what do you need to pack, what should stay at home, what is important, what is unimportant, and most importantly, how heavy can the backpack be for personal comfort. Questions upon questions, I can be glad that there is still a month of planning time ;).
My itinerary will first take me to Perth, where I will take a few days to acclimate. Then I will fly on to Adelaide to continue my tour on the Great Ocean Road and have Melbourne as my destination. From there, I will continue by plane to Sydney and then go on a 25-day group tour with up to 50 people between the ages of 18 and 35. I am really excited about this part of the trip. What will it be like to be together with strangers for 25 days, go on excursions together, and hopefully make friendships that do not only speak German as their native language.
A huge adventure is coming. It all starts on the 30th of January 2017. And my adventure does not end with Australia, no, from there it continues to New Zealand for another 1 1/2 months. But everything for this is still in the planning stage, so more information about that later.
I wish you all a lot of fun reading my blog and I am excited about your comments and feedback. Just write me an email, write me on Facebook or even on WhatsApp, because I don't want to lose contact with home ;). I will gladly give you a current number for Australia and New Zealand as soon as there is one.
See you soon, your Julia
