We start our day with a coffee in our hotel room and set off to Princetown. There, we see a kangaroo grazing in the distance. We continue to the Gibson Steps to see the Twelve Apostles. After seeing two apostles, we later walk through Port Campbell National Park, searching for the remaining ten. However, we only discover six more. We read that some apostles have already collapsed due to wind and sea erosion. The limestone pillars were originally created by this as well. We then continue to the London Bridge, another impressive rock formation.
Then we visit The Grotto, a rock formation also created by wind and sea erosion. It is truly a unique experience.
We then head to the town of Warrnambool, where we first shop at ALDI. Afterwards, we pass by the Flagstaff Hill Maritime Village. It is a replica of a small town from the 19th century, depicting life in a port city back then.
We arrive in Port Fairy and cook ourselves some pesto noodles in our hostel. We are almost celebrated as gourmet chefs because everyone else only eats instant noodles.
After dinner, we want to watch the sunset at the lighthouse. Unfortunately, the sunset disappears behind the clouds, but we spot numerous wallabies that live freely there.
