Gold mole and racing mouse

At the second rest stop of our 1000-star hotel, we were able to observe a gold mole and a racing mouse up close. The gold mole seemed to have wandered to the surface and spent a few hours there before disappearing back into the sand. On the other hand, the racing mouse jumps over the sand all night and spreads its tracks everywhere. The racing mouse was particularly interested in fallen crumbs from dinner, but it would have also liked to help itself at the table. At least it managed to get on my neighbor's lap. And around our bed, the racing mouse was busy overnight, as the tracks in the morning show.
