Uwe
wieder wunderschöne Bilder und tolle Einblicke nicht nur in das was Ihr zu sehen bekommt, sondern auch was Eure Empfindungen angeht. Meine Hochachtung für beides. Ihr macht es wirklich tollLofalitsidwa: 29.05.2018
Mood:
From mixed to super good again 😊
Health:
Emely is feeling much better, just the feeling that her ears are blocked
Food:
Meat meat meat; Emely is getting tired of too much meat.
In Thailand and now in Malaysia, there are no knives for eating, but people always eat with a fork in the left hand and a spoon in the right. The fork pushes the food onto the spoon and only the right hand brings the food to the mouth. Finn finds this a bit difficult as he is left-handed.
Communication:
No problem, so far everyone in Malaysia understands the most important things in English
Hygiene:
We can't complain in Malaysia either. Everything is clean.
Accommodation:
Hostels; currently often private rooms
Transportation:
On foot, taxi, scooter, ferry
Climate:
Over 30 degrees, cloudy with sun, frequent thunderstorms with heavy rain increased during the day. What is very exhausting is the constant change between air-conditioned indoor spaces and the outside.
Money:
Malaysia has banknotes and only the cents (sen) are coins. In our opinion, this should be introduced in Germany. It is also interesting that the "1" ringgit note is made of tear-resistant paper, they are really cool.
Realization:
Traveling with a guidebook is much nicer, because we didn't have one for the south of Thailand.
Special feature:
In Krabi, we were able to buy a German travel guide for Malaysia and Singapore in a café for around €2 (see cover photo). We were very happy about that, because it is now serving us well😊
