On Wednesday, November 6, I was assigned to the service technician for the replacement of a switchgear combination. I expected an old asbestos distribution, but the house built in 2010 had a different issue. During the construction of the house, the electrical installation could not cost much, so a distribution board that was far too small was installed. After the installation of a PV system with self-consumption management (heating water), the last reserve space was used up. New space had to be created for the installations in the garden and the necessary RCBOs. Therefore, the old cabinet was dismantled and a new larger cabinet was installed. While reconnecting the cables, various defects were promptly corrected, and by evening, the new distribution was ready for use. After successful testing and filling out the measurement protocol, I was able to leave a few minutes early for a well-deserved evening off. I really enjoyed working with a dedicated young service technician; the work went smoothly.
If anyone has a too-small fuse distribution or an old switchboard with screw fuses, feel free to get in touch for advice.
