It starts early for the Titicaca Lake; the bus is once again full of French. After a good hour, we finally get out of the traffic chaos in El Alto.
A ferry ride and another two hours later, we arrive in the village of Copacabana, the starting point for ferry rides to Isla del Sol and Isla de la Luna.
There are fresh truchas (sometimes trout, sometimes salmon) to eat on every corner.
I enjoy the sunset over the highest navigable lake in the world on the Calvari Hill, which, like most lookout hills in South America, is adorned with crosses. Unfortunately, there is also an enormous amount of trash here.
At night, there is a thunderstorm and the rain pounds loudly on the corrugated iron roof of my hut.
