I walked into the city at 8.30am, 5 million inhabitants, very busy, which again has its own atmosphere.
I have now seen the sights like the Opera, Harbour Bridge, CBD from land that I saw from the ship in March..... I felt quite small in the city... everything here is impressively big. 🏬🏙️
I happened to pass by the Royal Botanic Garden, which is very beautiful and has some fantastically beautiful trees, including huge fig trees. The view of the harbor from there is particularly beautiful.
On the quay I see the Aboriginal man who has painted himself white, which has a spiritual meaning in order to get in touch with the ancestors, who performs his traditional songs and invites people to take a photo. The whole Harbour area, where the opera is located, was Aboriginal territory of the Gadigal Clan of the Eora People. In the museum that was on the way I was able to learn a lot about this history and the invasion of Europeans in Australia... Very touching and gave me a broader view of the city.
I'm back at the hotel, pretty tired after a long walk and looking forward to my comfortable bed.
So folks, 'I am done' 😅 .. and I'm coming home... It was an adventurous trip, there is a lot to tell and I look forward to seeing you all again!
