Hiking Moselle wine is how it should be

Day 1 Schweich - Mehring Camping Triolago

The weather is a dream at the moment, it really made my butt itch. The Moselle has been in my drawer for a long time. At home everything has been sorted out, as always a big thank you to you Burki. Since organizing the overnight stay was a bit difficult at such short notice, I decided to take my tent with me and also go to campsites. That's at least 12 kg that I have to hump. Let's see if that goes well.

Today I took advantage of the 49 euro ticket and drove to Schweich. It was then 16 km to walk on the Moselsteig to the campsite.

First it went up quite a bit and then this beautiful view of the Moselle valley. Absolutely nothing going on on the way.

Luckily there was a pizzeria right next door. First glass of white wine test passed. 😀 Now it's 8:30 p.m. and I'm really tired. That's the way it is.

At the campsite I was given a cyclist by the boss because I travel on foot. Nice gesture.
