People - spring is coming. In fact, we had almost 4 whole days of sunshine! I just wonder....why the hell are the nights still so damn cold??? :D Today we left the Catlins and are heading to the UNESCO World Heritage Site Fiordland. To all the national parks! Our first destination will be Doubtful Sound. So off to the deepest bush and into the beautiful nature. Since we are approaching the rainiest area on EARTH (!!!) - Milford Sound - .....please keep your fingers crossed that it won't rain so much! We have already had enough rain - but I am optimistic.
So now we are sitting at McDonald's and thinking about which tracks we want to go there and what food we will need.
In the Catlins we actually had the luck to see the rarest penguin in the world - the yellow-eyed penguin...until he was scared away by some tourists who got too close (..uhhhmmm......***beeeep***).
Warm regards from the three of us to Germany!!!!
