The journey to Coromandel

We set off for Coromandel today in a relaxed manner. We had decided to stay overnight halfway as the distance would have been very far otherwise. So a stopover at Waihi Beach, unfortunately not such great weather as in Ohope.

For those who also want to drive State Highway 2, don't stop, because if you want to stop at all the great spots, it will take you 3 days for this journey😀.

We checked in at the same place as in 2015, Hot Water Beach, after a short walk on the beach (2 hours), we went to the honey man we trust, had a nice conversation with his wife and then had fish and chips in Hahei. As everywhere by the sea, fish only tastes really good on site.

In the evening, we watched Pretty Women in the cinema room, and then this day was almost over.
