After leaving the steppe (Meseta) by car, we will enter the green and fertile region (Galicia) from tomorrow onwards.
My friend Irina is having a hard time with the steppe. She seems to have an infection, she has a fever and is in pain, but she will continue tomorrow. Luckily, our Italian friend Massimo is with her and taking care of her. Rendy has picked up his wife and they are also walking through the steppe. Laercio, the Brazilian, is somewhere about 17 km ahead of me. I might even see him tomorrow.
Yesterday, there were noticeably many Germans in the hostel. Today, I walked almost the entire way with three Germans and in the evening, a fourth German joined us. This day was very, very boring.
Everyone else here talks about warm topics, about feelings, about mistakes they have made in life, they speak openly about everything they think about someone, they drop all masks...
The Germans complain about bad food, talk about their company and what studies they have completed, and what is the best remedy against bed bugs.
Today, I met two crazy Swiss women - see photo. They have 3 dogs with them. The small two dogs usually use the stroller and there is space for them in a backpack. When the big Bobtail gets tired, he also goes in the stroller. They all sleep in the tent.
