I quickly fell asleep in our tent camp, which is located exactly on the equator, surrounded by animal noises.
Our first safari of the day started at 6.15 a.m. After returning and having breakfast, we continued:
9.30 a.m. Rhino station with Baraka, the blind black rhino. We learned a lot about the tragic fates of the animals that live or die here. Finally, we had an intensive encounter with Baranka, one of the last rhinos of his species.
At 4 p.m. the last safari started in pouring rain. We visited a memorial cemetery for murdered black rhinos.
We saw a huge herd of water buffalo, but also a water buffalo carcass. We searched for the person responsible for it for a while without finding any and then ended the day with dinner.
