Hello,
I spent this morning in Bristol. After a quick breakfast, I went to St Nicholas Market, which was one of the highlights of yesterday for me, and actually found some nice souvenirs with my last pounds. Then I strolled to the Bristol City Museum. For a change, there was another Gromit statue waiting for me, this time the Engineering Edition. You should know that the Wallace & Gromit movies were made in a studio in Bristol, and statues of the two main characters spread all over the city are a big attraction.
For lunch, I enjoyed a spinach crepe and green tea in a small harbor cafe that luckily accepted credit cards, because I was broke thanks to shopping. So I sat by the water for a while and read before heading back to my accommodation to pick up my backpack. From there, I went to the train station and took the train to London Paddington. I continued by subway to Liverpool Street station, from where I caught a direct train to Stansted Airport.
With a little delay, I landed at Vienna Airport at midnight, where Marc was already waiting for me.
I hope the blog has brought you joy, and we'll see each other soon!
Goodbye,
Veronika
