We say goodbye to Tbilisi and continue to Sighnaghi. We stay in the village of Nukriani, just before Sighnaghi, with an incredibly nice couple with a beautiful garden!
Just for a moment not paying attention, and we end up in a neighboring garden for a wine tasting on our way to the supermarket!
Our host family is so kind and hospitable, they cook delicious meals for us, supply us with wine, and we even spend a fun-filled barbecue evening together!
Of course, we also visit the city of Sighnaghi - the city of love. Due to its romantic backdrop, the registry office is open 24/7 and weddings are taking place non-stop. The three of us decided not to participate!
Shortly before Sighnaghi is the Bodbe Monastery, built in the 9th century, belonging to the Georgian Orthodox Church, with a panoramic view of the valley.
Finally:
Every vote counts, voting is important - and thanks to our visit, we were able to vote from Georgia!
'No rebellion comes by itself, silence does not bring revolution! I can't hear you, why don't you turn up? Make some noise!' (Madsen)
