The North of Bali - Pemuteran and Lovina
I took the bus down to Lovina again in Bedugul, rented a motorbike again here, and rode the remaining 40 km to the peaceful Pemuteran. And here you can really relax. My chosen resort was not directly on the beach, but as I would find out, that was really not a problem. My first walk ended on the garbage dump, oh no, it was the beautiful beach with its typical black volcanic sand. Unfortunately, I didn't reach the beach at the 100 meter section which was divided by some hotels. No, I arrived where all the plastic garbage washes up and unfortunately is not disposed of. And the said section of the hotels is not worth mentioning either, as it is mainly claimed by guests of the respective resorts or you have to buy a sunbed. And I was not willing to do that especially since my pool was very inviting.
I actually came here to do nothing, but after a short time I was drawn away from the sun lounger. Although this area is more suitable for small excursions. Once I drove to the nearby "White Sand" Beach, full of anticipation, but this one was also in the hands of hotels. Another time I took a trip to the 30 km away port city of Gilimanuk. From here, the ferries go over to Java, but otherwise there is nothing to see here either.
I then walked up to a temple above Pemuteran, it was only 2 km, but it was breathtaking in the heat.
And since my hotel room neighbors were incredibly annoying to me, because of the door handle, they didn't know about it, especially after 11 pm, I left Pemuteran prematurely and drove back to Lovina. Here I spent the most time in my resort up in the mountains in a Lumbung (an old style of a rice hut) with a view of Lovina.
And so another great trip comes to an end.
I met many lovely people again, no matter where in Singapore, Malaysia, Sumatra or Bali, I was warmly welcomed everywhere. I've seen many beautiful places, admired great nature, cursed some bus rides again (because the music was annoyingly loud), and ate incredibly delicious food again.
Now it's back to cold Germany with the anticipation of the next trip wherever that leads me, I'm already very excited.
Finally, I thank all those who have followed me virtually here...
Thank you, goodbye ... Terimakasih!
