Wochen-Übersicht/ week overview

Hab ein kleines Update für euch am Start. 

Am Dienstag haben wir dann aus den Kühen Hackfleisch gemacht... Das hat uns einen kompletten Tag gekostet. Ich habe auch direkt ein Kuhbein bekommen, um dieses von schlechtem und gutem Fett zu trennen. Das schlechte Fett ist am Fleisch außen und ist meistens hart und das gute Fett, was man noch zum Kochen verwenden kann, ist innen am Fleisch und relativ weich.

Am Donnerstag hatten wir wieder Bewertungstag, wo wir unsere theologischen Projekte abgegeben haben. Außerdem habe ich mein Projekt von letztem Monat wiederbekommen. War wieder ganz gut. 😊

Gestern hatten wir unsere „Abschlussprüfung“ in systematischer Theologie. Bin ganz gut klar gekommen. Dort mussten wir Fragen aus dem Unterricht beantworten und dann haben wir noch einen Aufsatz über ein spezielles Themengebiet geschrieben. Ich habe mittlerweile die Hälfte von meinem akademischen Abschluss in Theologie erreicht. 🥳 

Gestern Nachmittag sind wir auf ein Winter-Festival gefahren von unserem Medienteam und haben Bilder gemacht. Unter anderem konnte man auch kostenlos eine Kutschfahrt im weißen Wald machen. Das war so episch. Oder Kegel mit einem Truthan umschmeißen. Das hab ich vorher noch nicht gehört. 😂

Zurück auf der Ranch haben wir an unserem neuen Video gearbeitet. Wir haben eigentlich geplant gehabt ein Video über die Ranch zu machen und ein bisschen die Ranch vorzustellen. Daraus ist aber irgendwie nichts geworden.. Was ich aber noch zur Ranch sagen kann ist, dass zur Zeit ein paar Pferde schwanger sind. Es wird im Frühjahr also Fohlen geben! 😍 Dazu aber dann..

Have a little update for you at the start. 

On Tuesday we have then made mincemeat from the cows.... That took us a full day. I also got a cow leg right away to separate this from bad fat and good fat. The bad fat is on the outside of the meat and is mostly hard and the good fat, which you can still use for cooking, is on the inside of the meat and is relatively soft. 

On Thursday we had grading day again where we turned in our theology projects. I also got my project back from last month. Was pretty good again. 😊 Yesterday we had our "final exam" in systematic theology. Got along pretty well. There we had to answer questions from class and then we wrote another essay on a specific topic area. I'm halfway through my academic degree in theology by now. 🥳

Yesterday afternoon we went to a winter festival from our media team and took pictures. Among other things, you could take a carriage ride in the white forest for free. That was so epic. Or knocking over cones with a turkey. I haven't heard that before. 😂 

Back at the ranch we worked on our new video. We had actually planned to make a video about the ranch and introduce the ranch a bit. But somehow nothing came of it. But what I can say about the ranch is that there are a couple of horses pregnant right now. So there will be foals in the spring! 😍 About that but then.
