Ranch-Werbung/ Ranch promotion

E phatlaladitšwe: 07.03.2021

Hey!

There is new news! 😊

Last Tuesday we went out into nature with our media team and simply kept our eyes open for beautiful photo opportunities. We were able to discover quite a few things, such as a few trees that have been eaten by beavers or a stream filled with pure water. 'Beauty is in the details'. ;)

In the evening, we had a meeting with our advisory family. On the way there, the sunset was super beautiful, and we saw a wild rabbit sunbathing. Well, who can find him in the picture? 🙃

For dinner, we had something completely different. Pancakes with cheese cream, strawberry sauce, chocolate sauce, chocolate drops, and cream. :D

Speaking of cream: we had the super cool idea to throw whipped cream in the air and catch it with our mouths. Unfortunately, I didn't do it so well and got everything dirty (including the ceiling). 😂

One of the pictures shows the dog from my advisory family. She loves to cuddle. 😊

On Thursday, we set up a booth for the ranch at a sports show in Erie to promote it. The event lasted from Friday to Sunday. I was there all day on Friday and Saturday afternoon, helping out. Among other things, we also brought a small pony so that you could feel a bit of the ranch feeling. 😉 Plus, we dressed up like cowboys. It was a nice change in between. ;)

On Saturday morning, we took a first aid course at the nearby fire station so that we always know how to act in case of emergencies during the summer. :)

Next Tuesday, we will have grading day for our monthly theological projects. At noon, we hand them in to our advisory family, as they will be evaluated there.

In the evening, all the staff families and students come together, and we have dinner together. Then everyone shares what they have learned during the month. Usually, we play games such as Canadian Dodgeball (similar to dodgeball) with the staff and students in the gym afterwards. It's always a lot of fun. ☺️

See you next week! 🙃
