Direction to Sorrento/Marina di Puolo

E phatlaladitšwe: 05.10.2024

Today we traveled from Rome to Sorrento and then on to our second vacation spot, Marina di Puolo.

Incredibly, we took 3 buses, all three were on time, we had the right tickets and almost effortlessly found every stop. I’m not used to that in the south! Plus, there was a strike in public transportation today! At least in Rome.

In Sorrento, we had a lunch break, where prices were almost Swiss-like depending on the restaurant... 🤑 This is probably due to the numerous tourists, almost more than at St. Peter's Square... 😆

But thankfully, we really don’t have to save money, so we had a very good dinner in Marina di Puolo as well. Raphael has also reserved a table for tomorrow at St. Raphael 😍

The bay is not exactly car-free, but of course, we walked the last few meters/the last kilometer. Through olives and over backyards, with a glimpse of the sea visible every now and then. Simply beautiful!

Our AirBnb is also very nice and has everything you need (Bialetti, wine glasses, refrigerator, and a rain shower).

Tomorrow is supposed to be sunny, I would be very happy about a day at the beach 😎
