On our last day as campers, the sun spoils us. In the morning, we take a walk along Four Mile Beach and keep an eye out for saltwater crocodiles. They're supposed to show up on the beach from time to time.
We spend the midday heat running errands. We buy fruit for breakfast the next day, take care of our travel plans, and refill the camper's gas bottle. Tomorrow, the camper adventure in Australia comes to an end. After we've all dealt with more or less annoying duties of the day, we read, rinse off the sunscreen from our no longer quite so white skin, and go into town. We get dinner at a restaurant and take it to the city park. As the sun sets behind the rainforest hills on the horizon, we eat our fish n chips and enjoy the evening in Port Douglas.
