Friday, 14/09/2018 - Bajawa. Today was an interesting day. We visited three original villages with indigenous people who uphold ancestor worship. The Ngada tribe originally came from India by boats. They have a matriarchal culture. Umbrella-like structures represent the ancestral fathers, hut-like structures represent the ancestral mothers.
We visited sulfur springs, photographed the Inerie volcano (2245 m) surrounded by clouds. Bathed in the hot spot of mixed water from a hot and a cold spring. And saw a green Mamba snake!
