Day 9 - Channel Island National Park

As mentioned in another article, Channel Island Park had me hooked, and I didn't hesitate to make changes and incur costs to get there by boat.

The island group is about 1.5 hours by boat from the mainland and is a popular destination for diving, snorkeling, or kayaking.

Unfortunately, I didn't take any pictures of the archipelago with my smartphone (I know, shame on me), and it wasn't possible underwater either.

However, we were also in a pretty big cave where we could observe seals with spotlights. (It's better to leave your smartphone dry in there too)

Underwater, there were many colorful and large fish, and on land, there were of course the spirited Americans who catch their dinner with fishing rods and infect and inspire others. For the boat crew, the underwater world is their life, and they casually and expertly identified all descriptions of fish observations.

Critique: the wetsuit was too cold, and I was pretty cold while snorkeling. I mentioned it when returning the suit, but the great Americans didn't want to hear it.

So sometimes, despite or maybe because of the great mentality, one might get stuck in mediocrity. (Had to get that off my chest)
