Part 2: Arrive in Paracas and do a little exploring

We would be let out at the main square and my hotel was 50 meters away. I was there at 12:30 and check-in wasn't until 2 p.m. I could hand over my suitcase and then looked online for tours and what you can do here. I booked a Golden Shadow tour for the afternoon through PeruHop. I actually wanted to look for something myself, but there are a lot of offers and I don't feel like ripping things off. I was just about to go explore the area, but then the lady told me that my room was already ready. The accommodation was well rated and I paid 116 soles (approx. €30) for two nights for a single room and everything is OK and clean, only there is a table fan and it is incredibly hot. Somehow my mood was in the basement because of all the negative impressions (hot, horse show, strange place). Nevertheless, I went out and noticed that it was really just a seaside resort apart from the national park. I was also in a place called Kavos in Corfu, where there is only beach and party and that's what this place reminds me of. There is also no supermarket, just mini shops with decent prices. At that moment I thought it would be cool to be home in Cologne. But I continued to explore the area and did a bit of juggling. Afterwards the world looked better again and I went to the hotel briefly before I went on the tour...
