Porshöfn Camping

19.08.2023: After a morning trip to the puffins (a few are still here, most of the nests are empty, the birds are heading south), we continue. We are fascinated by what the weather and the landscape have to offer today: from light drizzle to sunshine to dense fog... paved coastal road, gravel road over a pass, rocky desert, through wide land covered with low trees, bushes, and moss... We make a stop in Egilsstadir to stock up on groceries for the weekend at Netto...the prices are like in Switzerland and higher, for example, you pay about 7 Swiss francs for a 'normal' white bread.
