Last day in Budapest. The weather is beautiful, but we are tired. Tired from traveling and from the bustling city. Cycling in Budapest is stressful. The local cyclists are like buses and cars. Fast and tend to be reckless. No chill cruising through the city. For me, as a hardened city cyclist, it's not that bad, but Katja is losing her fun. So after visiting the Margaret Island, we stay at the campsite and chill.
On our way to the bike path along the Danube, we pass through the area around the Hungarian National Theater.
The fountain is really interestingly controlled. From time to time, it imitates a firework.
We're going swimming! In the Palatinus Strand; and yes, there is a stork living here.
Here, not only campers but also people from the surrounding area gather. For whole families, this is practically a beer garden. At least now, in September, the whole thing is thrown by one person. Respect!
