It's hot in Iseo, scorching hot. According to weather-online, it feels like 38 degrees Celsius, although it's actually 34 degrees.
It's too hot for almost everything. We leisurely ride our bikes to Iseo, have breakfast, and take a stroll.
Then, we go back to the campsite to find shade and jump into the lake every hour to cool off.
The next day is just as hot, but we don't want to repeat the previous day's program.
So, we drive to Bergamo. The birthplace of madness in Europe that still haunts us today.
There is a lot of money in Bergamo and many expensive restaurants. And it's the region of Franciacorte. A champagne-like sparkling wine; very tasty, but also quite expensive. We each treat ourselves to 2 bottles for lunch and spend 36 euros.
We return to the campsite where Katja makes Ratatouille and I grill halved Salsiccia to go along with it.
