As announced, it poured down this morning. Since improvement was expected, we initially postponed the departure a bit. Around 9 o'clock, we finally put on our rain gear when it stopped raining a bit. Rain was forecasted throughout the day anyway. Then the surprise when we went outside to load the bikes - it had completely stopped. Nonetheless, we initially set off with rain protection, which could be gradually reduced during the day. To cut to the chase - it actually stayed completely dry. From Schaprode, today we first went north to the Wittower Ferry and then on to Wiek. There was a gusty west wind, which was quite annoying when cycling north. From Wiek, we had to ride west for a while towards Dranske, which was quite exhausting. But then the tour initially went north and then further east, so the wind was our friend again. Completely unexpectedly, the sun appeared for two hours at midday when we were at Cape Arkona. With a cloudy sky again, but still dry, we reached our destination for today, Glowe, in the afternoon.
