13.04.2023 Child care project

This morning we got the choice to go on a trip with the younger kids to a nearby playing park. It would get a little bit later than our usual shift but we didn't mind.

The park was filled with animals, sandpits, slides, inside and outside playing areas.

There were also some 'carts' that you could move with pedals and a row of carts that were attached to a quad that was driving around the park.

A really fun day for the kids.

First I was outside and trying my best to keep the kids that were pedaling around with the carts from crashing into each other. And let me tell you that this was some of the worst driving that I had ever seen.

They got stuck on every corner and had no mercy for any other kids that were walking in front of their carts. While also yelling if they could get a push because they were too lazy to use the pedals.

And as soon as they were done they would park the cart in the middle of the road and leave. It was all good fun though.

But I will be scared when any of them get a real driving license.

We had a look at the animals before heading to the indoor play area and eating some lunch.

When the weather was getting worse again we started to pack our stuff and head back to the buses.

It was a longer day but the park was a cool experience for everyone. And on the way back most kids were instantly asleep.

After dinner me and Svea went for another round of badminton. Though my legs were still hurting I tried my best and actually felt like I had improved a bit.

Also we now already know some of the people there and they were really happy we came back. There all super friendly and helpful with tips. Though the advice they give usually goes against the entire way that I use to play so it's difficult to follow.

Tomorrow we got another work day before the weekend were we will probably explore some more castles.
