Wednesday, 07.21.2018 - Day 5 of the trip
This morning I took it easy, after having had severe dizziness in the evenings before.
Slept in until 8:30 am, went for a walk with the dogs in the cork oak forest, then had a leisurely breakfast, packed everything back up and headed towards Costa del Azahar, to the Eden campsite in the historic coastal town of Peñíscola.
The old town of Peñíscola is located on a rocky peninsula surrounded by the sea; the center is formed by a castle and the old town is surrounded by city walls.
I'm going to stay here for at least two days to recover from the travel stress and unwind a bit.
Today I felt like going out to eat finally, after having lived on cheese cubes, cherry tomatoes, peanuts and croissants for the past few days during the car ride and not feeling like cooking in the evenings anymore. But that's not so easy in winter, because almost everything is closed here.
I ran along the beach for a few kilometers - the dogs enjoyed it and raced each other after the many hours of driving - and eventually I found a restaurant that I liked and where I had a pizza with shrimp.
Good night, my loves!
