Okay, so the trip to Bangkok was actually the worst part of my whole journey. Since I missed my bus and the second bus driver gave me the wrong directions, I arrived just before the luggage check closed, which stressed me out a lot, but in the end, I made it. Then came the 3 flights, which took a total of 24 hours (without any layovers at the respective airports), and on two of them, I had incredibly unfriendly seat neighbors. Additionally, I forgot my charger cable on one of the planes, and my phone was at 10%.. but in the end, both my luggage and I arrived safely in Bangkok, thank God. The hostel was really cool, I already met a lot of nice people on the first evening, and I almost felt a little sad to leave the next day. However, before leaving, I walked around Bangkok a bit. Bangkok has incredibly beautiful temples and museums, but overall, like probably everywhere in Thailand, it's very dirty and you have to get used to it a little bit.. but still, I'm glad to have spent one night in Bangkok and then go to Chiang Rai the next day.
