Emerald Lake - Revelstoke

Good morning Canada! A beautiful morning with sun and blue sky greeted us once again. We had breakfast outside in the sun (without mosquitoes!) and then got the camper ready for travel. Today we headed west, towards Revelstoke.

We made a stop at Emerald Lake. The turquoise, crystal clear water truly lives up to its name "Emerald." 😍

Soon we left Alberta and were in British Columbia. We continued driving to Golden and over Rogers Pass. We even crossed a time zone there, so the clock was set back 1 hour.

Early in the morning, I received a WhatsApp message from Birgit asking where we were. I only knew that she and her family were on a 5-week vacation with their camper starting from Vancouver. It turned out they were traveling from Armstrong to Revelstoke! 😝

So, we spontaneously tried to get a spot for 2 nights at the same campground, which surprisingly worked out. 👍

What a joy it was to see familiar faces from Bülach! We exchanged stories and had a cozy chat over coffee and tea until late in the evening... 😊
