2/11 - Morelia, capital of Michoacán

E phatlaladitšwe: 06.12.2017

After the eventful days in Patzcuaró, Kathi and I spent one last day together in Morelia before our journey together unfortunately came to an end too quickly. Morelia is the capital of Michoacán and when you walk through the streets, sometimes you might think you are in a European city due to the architecture - but the food, the street vendors, and last but not least the people undoubtedly remind you of Mexico :-)

Furthermore, the Día de los Muertos was still present throughout the city of Morelia - after all, it was still a holiday. And just like in the previous two cities in Michoacán, there were plenty of altars created by school classes and university courses to admire as part of various competitions.
