The night was somehow not as good as at SeaEsta Beach, but it's not because of the beds, as they are equally hard everywhere. It's a bit noisier here - you can hear the crickets chirping, passing scooters, etc. After waking up, we made ourselves a coffee in the room and sat on the balcony. We thought about what we could do today and decided to go to the viewpoint first and then visit a beach. The scooter ride is getting better and better - whether up or down, we can go anywhere.
Actually, we thought we could drive directly to the viewpoint with the scooter. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case, we had to park and walk a few hundred meters. I actually didn't feel like hiking at all, the first few meters were already too much for me. But we went through with it. Once we reached the top, we found two huge rocks and a bit further a bar where you have a great view. Two German couples were already there and we joined them and noticed that we could have come up here with the scooter if we had taken a different path on the other side.
We asked for some highlights on the island and decided to go to Tanote Bay on recommendation. We packed our swimwear and this time also the snorkel masks and off we went.
The beach is really beautiful. Another great backdrop - surrounded by rocks and lots of forest. There's also a big rock in the water.
We put on the Easy Breath masks and went into the water. Christian started right away, it took me a bit longer.
Put on the mask, tighten it and now just put your head down. Strangely, that was a little bit difficult for me. At first, when you see what's going on under you, it shocked me - I also got a little panicked and out of breath and had to immediately go back to land. Under the mask, I felt like I couldn't get enough air.
The second attempt went better, Christian showed me a spot where we could see a great school of fish. And rainbow fish and many others.
On the viewpoint, we were also recommended the snorkeling tour with 5 spots around the island, so we booked it for tomorrow. For 500 baht, from 12:00-18:00, including lunch.
Dinner took place on the beach tonight, while it was already dark, we had small lanterns and everything was beautifully lit.
After dinner, we watched the fire show, which takes place every evening on our beach.
