Naturally with delay, the three 'guys' with whom I traveled the Great Ocean Road arrived at my hostel. We immediately went to a body shop to assess the damage caused by a bird on the front bumper. When it became clear that there was no chance of a quick repair, we headed towards the GOR after a breakfast break.
The first day was mainly spent driving with a short stop at the Silo Monument, which we discovered by chance, and a stop at the really blue Blue Lake.😊
We spent our first night in Port Fairy where I had a room all to myself and slept like a baby 😍😊
The second day was much more varied and interesting. We (Marcin) drove along the coast and made stops wherever we found a viewpoint to enjoy the landscape. Lunch on the beach at the Gibsons Steps literally fell into the water when Lasse lost the pan in the sea.🙈😂 I then shared my lunch with the guys, but they soon needed another snack.
The slightly down mood improved soon after and we were able to enjoy the last viewpoints and a fascinating sunset.
The next day we had to leave early again to return the car to the rental company and get to Melbourne in time.😁
