At the evening the 10th week is completed, the 2nd week on the Via Podiensis.
Since the second pair of shoes has worn out, I search with Mme Pradines for the next shoemaker's workshop, they have to carry me until Moissac now.
Since we still have to clarify the accommodation for the evening, I don't leave until 9:30 am.
When I tell Corinne, my evening hostel mother, that I will be there at 6 pm, she starts laughing and promises me a free beer if I make it. But today it's only 25 degrees and 37 km.
We go through meadows and fields and through small forests, mostly oaks.

At noon I arrive in Montcuq. I want to visit the medieval watchtower, as so often in France the public servants consistently close from 1pm to 3pm. It just wasn't meant to be. Otherwise, very flair, very beautiful.

I am always amazed, you meet at a farm coffee and cold drinks for the pilgrims, everything for 1 €.
My fighting spirit was awakened: 3 minutes before 6 pm I arrive in Lauzerte and win my bet with Corinne😊👍💪
In Latin, Lauzerte means "The Lamp". The medieval village accordingly overlooks the area and has always been a stopping place for pilgrims.
After the evening dinner there is still time for art and travel blog.
Tomorrow I will go to Moissac over 27 km, it is Pentecost, Monday is a day off!
