Hello guys, as announced yesterday, we had a quieter day today. Body aches, which inexplicably plagued me for most of the day, didn't really bring back my motivation to get out of bed! However, in the evening we finally decided to get out of bed and headed towards 'Mount Eden'! A dormant volcano located in the heart of Auckland.
After about an hour of walking and a really challenging climb, we finally reached the viewpoint of the volcano. It was really impressive! Not only was the view of the city at dusk beautiful, it was also incredible how large this city is. No matter where you looked, everywhere was just city and lights!
On top of the mountain, we enjoyed the view for a while, and then we went shopping for a short while before returning to the hostel.
Tomorrow we'll go to the car dealer again, as we want to have the car checked again by the 'AA', which is like the ADAC for us, before we buy it! The dealer will fix and repair all the issues that the 'AA' discovers before we buy the car. Then it will have a new inspection, get registered, and we will be able to pick it up on Tuesday. I'm really curious about what will happen tomorrow!
I will report. Until then, I wish you a relaxing Sunday! 😊
Greetings from Auckland, New Zealand! 🇳🇿
Your Tim! 😊
