Our day in Bosteri, which is located next to the famous resort Chalpon Ata, was a success. At first, it seemed like the weather wouldn't cooperate, the morning was cold and grey. During breakfast, we found out that breakfast included only one course. So we got the portion of porridge included, but we had to pay for the following portion of blini - pancakes. Well, hospitality is different here...
Then we packed our beach bags and headed to the wonderful beach and boom - the beach weather was there too!
We enjoyed swimming in the refreshing Issyk-Kul very much! The water attractions cost extra. So to go down one of the adventurous slides that end in the sea, it costs 100 Som each, jet ski costs 500 Som for 5 minutes, parashute costs 1500 Som per person - that's a lot of money for local standards, remember: we once got very full in a restaurant for 400 Som!
But the Ferris wheel is really worth a ride, we enjoy the magnificent view of the amazing beach. In the evening, we go out for a delicious meal and after an evening walk on the beach, we visit a cafe. Most important realization: Even in the tourist hotspot, there is no decent coffee - so we better keep drinking tea.
Only one more night separates us from camping - we are very excited!
