Stage 31 and rest day in the green

The campsite manager had carefully given us a shady spot in the morning, so we only got the full load of sun when cycling. And of course, it was constantly hilly! The area is called Hög Kusten, where the land was raised significantly from the sea during the melting after the Ice Age, leaving behind lakes.

After a stretch along the E4 highway, with a nicely paved bike path parallel (and enough uphill sections), we took a detour on smaller roads behind the next town. This time on soft gravel surface in burning sun on a 6-7% incline... We pushed up two such hills (that's what bike touring is all about 😋)

In the evening, we found a small campsite that is completely surrounded by nature, and due to the bad weather forecast, we decided to take a cabin and move the rest day to Saturday. Now it's not raining all day after all, but the rest is good for us and our tired legs, and the laundry is also back in a washing machine.
