Spring walk

E phatlaladitšwe: 08.04.2020

Today is a really beautiful and sunny day! That's why we're going for a walk today.

Unfortunately, I strained my back two days ago. It's probably because of the mattress, which is so saggy in the middle that you fall into a deep abyss. 😄

Our walk today goes to Alpha Lake, which is right nearby. There are a lot of people out and about. Everyone is taking advantage of the good weather: they're jogging, hiking, walking their dogs, or biking.

We pass by a dog park that is currently closed and walk on a boardwalk on the lake.

Since the snow here has mostly melted, a few flowers are starting to bloom.

The walk was definitely very refreshing and fun. My back is feeling a bit better too.

In the next few days, I want to go on a hike. I hope that by then the snow will have melted enough and the trail won't be so muddy anymore. The special thing about the trail is that in the 1950s, a freight train derailed here and the old freight cars are still scattered along the trail.

Bleibt gesund und passt auf Euch auf 👍🤗

Dagi
Die Welt steht still.
