Highlight of the day: Visit to Schloss Le Crest winery with wine tasting and tour. Thank you very much Mrs. Meyer!
When I walk for hours, many things come to my mind that I want to write about in the blog. But then many things happen and when I am writing, like now, the impressions and experiences are so diverse that I can no longer categorize everything. But that's what the photos are for, they say much more than a few words.
With the first photos (screenshots), I want to show you the difference between the planned tour by Komoot and the one I actually walked. With my route, I saved more than a kilometer today.
For that, Komoot initially led me through a forest path, which is very muddy in this weather and was very difficult to walk. I fell once (by the way, the first fall on the whole hike), but only the rain clothes got dirty. The problem was solved with snow and water from a well.
The highlight of today was my visit to a winery run by a man from the canton of Lucerne. He himself was not there, but his daughter and ex-wife took very good care of me and showed me a lot. During the wine tasting, I only drank a glass of white wine and a glass of red wine. Thank you very much for that! I got the tip for this visit from our friend Armin, who visited this winery 3 years ago.
One curious thing about today's stage was that I started in France, then walked through Switzerland, and now I'm back in France. However, I didn't notice any border crossings.
Shortly before my accommodation, I passed by a circus that has the Ukrainian colors, yellow and blue. These were also thoughts that went through my mind, especially because I have 2 friends in Kiev who now have to spend several hours in the basement every day. 🇺🇦
