Swimming in the fresh Baltic Sea and lying on the beach in Zingst for two days until the rain drove me away in the afternoon.
Used the evenings to cook diligently, much to the delight of my brother's girlfriend and of course myself.
Visited the art gallery in Ahrenshoop where she works.
Coffee and cake at Café Namenslos and relaxed beach walk despite rain.
After so much relaxation and lively memories about old hobbies like choir and piano, I was drawn to a big city again, namely Hamburg.
That makes all the million cities in Germany visited within two weeks. A few friends in each one.
Invited for a coffee in the Spiegel building.
In Hamburg, I can recommend the quiet Backpackers Hostel between Reeperbahn and Schanzenviertel. The Rote Flora is also nearby. Had Pakistani lunch with an Egyptologist whom I had last and only met five years ago.
Finally completed the Germany tour with Frankfurt on Saturday. Went around the train station district with former neighbors Torsten and ski friend Alex. The Yok Yok Kiosk was great for relaxing with a few beers.
Of course, family should not be neglected, so we enjoyed coffee and cake at Liebig Café along with a walk along the Main River.
