Our tour through southern England - arrival

The excitement and anticipation are growing, because in a few hours we will once again board my Mum and Frank's camper and explore the world. Thank you so much for that...

Our destination this year is Great Britain with southern England and especially London. We start at 1 p.m. and have 760 km ahead of us from Erfurt to Calais in France. Today we will cross 4 countries for that. The roads in Germany are crowded, but fortunately we are spared long traffic jams. We reach the Netherlands in the early evening and the journey through Belgium is also quick. We finally reach France around 10:15 p.m. Unfortunately, we cannot stay at the chosen trucker stop and then look for an alternative parking space with the help of the nice security staff. After another 15 minutes of driving, we find a place outside a campsite where we can spend the night. We fall exhausted into bed around 11:30 p.m.
