From Sundsvall we now headed northwest. We left the coast and ventured deeper into the Swedish inland. We wanted to spend one last night on a quiet camping spot before crossing over to Norway. We found what we were looking for in the tiny town of Arvesund near Östersund. Before that, we stocked up on fresh groceries at a Lidl.
The view of two mountain ranges and a beautiful lake was breathtaking. But the spot also offered a great water playground, a harbor café, and a museum.
We strolled through the harbor and played at the playground. After a warm shower, we snuggled up in blankets because the nights are getting colder. We didn't necessarily expect that and have to improvise a bit with extra layers of clothing.
