I am awakened in the morning by the wind, which loudly whistles around the house. It doesn't get any less at noon. I set off for Cerro Torre; the hiking trail starts right behind the house. The hiking trail is quite flat and easy, so there is a lot going on. Despite a sunny ascent, Cerro Torre remains shrouded in clouds. The view of the adjacent glacier from Mirador Maestri is still impressive. On the way across the ridge of the scree field, the water droplets from the glacier feel like small needle pricks on the skin due to the icy wind. Craft beer enjoyment again in the evening.
