Everything starts in Porto

E phatlaladitšwe: 24.01.2017

After a very short night and an uneventful flight (from Berlin to Porto, with a layover in Lisbon), we decided to make use of the day despite being tired and to discover Porto.

One must admit honestly that the city has a hard time with us, as it is compared to its 'big sister' Lisbon, which was already crowned one of our favorite cities during our visit last year.

It's all a bit smaller, a bit abandoned and sometimes a bit dirty. But all in all, this city does not lack charm. There is good food (lunch at #cantina32 and dinner at Cantinho do Avillez), beautiful weather, dreamy alleys, and an unbeatable view of the water if one has the energy to muster the strength it takes to climb one of the hills.

We decided to take a walk without a destination, which is sometimes very relaxing. Hats off to the city's inhabitants, who manage to race through the narrowest alleys at 70 km/h without endangering life and limb.
